The icMobile BC SMS Maker application is designed to decode Data Matrix and QR Code barcodes utilizing a mobile phone with built-in camera, preparing decoded data and sending via SMS message. The content of the message and receiving address are encoded into the barcode.
The icMobile BC SMS Maker software package includes Symbian Installation System (SIS) application and activation files. The activation file corresponds to device unique number via IMEI or BT Address. The OS Symbian builds will vary between ver. 8 & 9.
Performance tested on Nokia phones S60 Series (Nokia 6630, Nokia E50,...).
After capturing barcodes by the camera, the program decodes it, extracts the content and the address from the decoded text and sends SMS-message with the push of the button.
